Dennis has a home with a crawlspace and has sagging floors due to the moisture content. The floor is very uneven from supports that are failing and some supports have sunk and no longer touching the main beam.
Omni Basement Systems installed the Smartjacks with large footing plates on the soil to support the sagging crawlspace.
Karina needed a safer and more reliable Sump Pump System in her Welland, ON home. Phil from Omni recommended the SupeSump sump pump system. The SuperSump features the incredible zoeller cast iron pump, an airtight sealed two piece lid, an airtight floor drain and a high water watch alarm to notify the customer if there is a problem inside.
Larry B. in Welland, ON has a house with a nasty crawlspace. Despite efforts to insulate and encapsulate himself, the crawlspace was still cold and damp. This caused problems with the floor joists sagging and cold floors upstairs. Omni Basement Systems recommended a 3 part system for Larry. Add supplemental beam and Smartjacks to fix the sagging floors, Silverglo Insulation on the walls to keep the crawlspace and floors warm and finally, encapsulate the crawlspace with Cleanspace membrane. Cleanspace is 20mil thick liner with cord reinforcing and antimicrobial product built right in. Cleanspace is mechanically fasten so it will never come off.
Ryan has a finished basement and does not like his builder grade sump system. Omni Basement Systems installed the Supersump Plus sump system. The Supersump Plus features a larger liner that can house 3 pumps if required,, a Zoeller cast iron sump pump, an Ultrasump battery back up system and an airtight lid. The third pump can be easily added at a later date if required.
DonnaM in Welland has a house with a crawlspace. Donna noticed that the floors were getting out of level and had concerns for the safety of her home. The piers in the house were sinking and were not adjustable.
Keith recommended add SmartJacks by Supportworks. Three Smartjacks were placed under the main beam of the house. The SmartJacks are fully galvanized and cannot rust. They are also fully adjustable in the case that further adjustments are required.
Omni also removed debris and insulation to prepare for sprayfoam that is coming the following week.
