Bob has a house in Niagara Falls, ON, with a large crack in the poured concrete foundation. The crack's size and angle determined that the wall was tipping in and needed to be supported. Along with waterproofing, Omni Basement Systems installed PowerBraces to support the wall. PowerBraces are fully galvanized "I" beams bolted to the footing and then a specially designed bracket by Supportworks connects it to the floor joist system. A large adjustment bolt can be used to put a bowing or tipping wall back in place over time.
Mary M has a house in Niagara Falls, ON that needed an interior waterproofing project. The wall behind her washer and dryer was leaking and causing mold to grow and wetness on her floor. Omni Basement Systems recommended a partial interior waterproofing system using our patented WaterGuard and SuperSump Sump pump system. To make sure there is no moisture on the walls, Omni insstalled the ThermalDry wall membrane. The ThermalDry wall system will reflect radiient heat back into the room so that the cold cement cannot absorbe it.
