Jason & Kim T. had a damp unhealthy crawlspace in Puslinch, on. Omni Basement systems inspected the crawlspace and recommended an encapsulation process. This proces involves covering the dirt floor with an impenetrable vapor barrier. First, all organic materials and debris have to be removed and the dirt floor leveled. Once this is done Omni can apply the Cleanspace drainage matting and the Cleanspace liner. 
The Cleanspace liner is a 20 mil thick liner that is tear resistant and mold resistant. This liner will stop any moisture from coming out of the dirt and into the air space. Next thing to do is to dehumidify the air.

You installed a SuperPump unit at the south end of our basement that discharges out onto our lawn. It runs all winter and spring so we would like to bury the discharge pipe and extend it 100 ft towards the woods, and include a heat cable, similar to what you did for our TripleSafe at the north end of our basement. We have recently completed a major renovation and we are still experiencing a high level of condensation and icing on all of the windows throughout the house. Last year we installed and HRV and it helped somewhat but when the temperatures dropped to -18 or worse the problem with the windows was still there. It is so bad that we have to use towels on all the sills to sop up the water. Our home is in a low area close to river level and there is crushed stone under the house. It has been recommended that a moisture installed under the house would significantly reduce the humidity problem. Can you please contact us to give us a price to have this done before winter. Thanks
