In Hamilton, there is a thing called acid rain which is contaminated air from the steel mills. IF the acid rain gets into the foundation, it will eat away at the motor.

Footing are created for the Powerbraces
Powerbraces
The Powerbraces are installed every 4 feet. they are connected the floor joists by bridge brackets.
Membrane
the white membrane will be used in the waterproofing.
wATRGUARD AND cLEANSPACE
The Waterguard will drain water from the blocks and walls and drain to the Supersump sump pump system.
Supersump installed
The floor is opened and the Supersump is installed 24" down with he lid flush with he floor
Discharge line
The discharge is installed and is extended away from the home.
Wall membrane is installed
The remainder of the membrane is installed.
Bridge bracket.
The the floor joists are runner perpendicular from the wall, a bridge bracket is used.
Cross brace
To give more support under the window, a cross brace is used.
Floor restored
Once everything is in place, the floor is restored.
Supersump with Tuff Top Lid option
The Sump is installed with a optional lid. This lid is very strong and is completely flat. You can stand on top or hide the sump away.
Trenchdrain
The walk-out needs to be drained so Omni added a trench drain.
