A total of posts are installed in this basement to level the floors
Engineered base
This base uses the Bulb of influence theory. A hole is dug 2 feet down and 2 feet square. Then compacted gravel is added with a 1-foot square steel foot placed on the top(not shown). This will distribute the weight from the jack throughout the entire gravel bed in every direction rather than just straight down.

Gord installs the wall membrane which is part of the waterproofing
