Dig trench
A trench in the concrete floor is opened up to expose footing and gravel bed.
Scarify walls
A scarifier is used to prepare the walls where the carbon Armor will be attached.
Holes for grout
Holes are drilled in order to squeeze in the grout in the cavities of the blocks
Carbon fiber is epoxied
7" wide strips of carbon fiber are epoxied to the wall and the cavities in the blocks are filled with grout
Re-concrete the floor
After everything is installed, we re-concrete the floor back to the original height
Armor Lock
Strips of Carbon Fiber around a metal bracket are fastened to the rim joist so the floor joist system will help support the wall from moving. This strip is also epoxied to the wall under the Carbon Armor. strip.
Add weep holes
For waterproofing, we drill into the cavities. this is called weeping the block
Patented drainage system and sump pump
We add WaterGuard to the trench and that drains down to the new sump pump system. In this case, the Triplesafe sump pump with 3 pumps in a one-liner.
Add wall membrane
To make sure all moisture is directed down to the drainage system, we add a membrane to the wall. This particular membrane is called Createspace.
