Open the floor
THe large part of Flexispan is to open the floor and get right to the footing and ad drainage in the gravel bed.
Flexible sealant
This is difficult to see but we put a flexible sealant into the crack.
Foam drainage membrane and sealant
The next 2 steps are to add a 4" wide open cell drainage membrane and then trowel a flexible sealant over top.
Sealnt and membrane go into gravel
It is important to have these membrane to get tucked under the concrete slab.
Aditional liner
The entire area is covered with a thick white liner that also gets tucked under the floor.
Flor restored
Lastly, the concrete is restored and the insulation is taped back in place again.
