Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Sump upgrade with protection from cleanout in Port Dover, On
James and Wendy in Port Dover, On needed a sump upgrade and protection from water coming up from her cleanout which is a box on her floor. Omni Basement Systems replaced the sump pump with a SuperSump plus which is a single sump pump in an extra large liner. The extra large liner will allow a second pump to be added if required. Omni also added a feedline from the box on the floor that is used for a cleanout of the sewage line.
Gravel added
Omni Basement Systems adds gravel around the sump. The liner of the sump is perforated to allow water under the floor to be drained and pumped away.
Sump is re-concreted
Once the sump is installed the floor is restored
Floor is restored.
The floor is restored over the feedline and around the sump.
Adding feedline
The Cleanout box can be troublesome in homes with high water. Omni Basement Systems adds a feedline to the new sump.
