The efflorescence is showing on the concrete wall. This means water is being drawn up from under the floor and evaporating.

a Hole is dug where the sewer line comes into the home. This will be where the BWV is installed

Mainline Back water valved
The main sewer line is cut and the Back water Valve (BWV) is installed.

Sump liner is installed.
A perforated sump liner is installed in the floor. The perforations will drain water under the floor.

Floor restored
After the sump and the BWV is installed, the floor can be restored.
