Photo Album: Repaired and encapsulated Crawlspace in Port Colborne, On

Ron has a home in Port Colborne that has a crawlspace. Omni Basement Systems was hired to repair his crawlspace. Omni encapsulated the area with the amazing Cleanspace vapor barrier. They also fixed the sagging floor with the Smartjacks and supplemental beam. Smartjacks are fully galvanized steel house jacks with and engineered base. These are just some of the crawlspace products that Omni used.

Poor support

This very typical of what we see supporting a floor. Concrete blocks in place of proper pillars that usually sink into ground after being in a damp environment.

Drainage matting

The drainage matting will make sure any water will flow to the sump. It will also protect the Cleanspace vapor barrier.

Smartdrain

This is is the Smartdrain. it is designed to drain and water that gets on top of the liner from a plumbing leak and sound an alarm if this does happen.
