Before
6 mil poly was used as a barrier. This is not a good idea. 6 mil poly is not UV protected, it is too thin and will separate when crawled on.
Poor support
Here blocks are put on wood base. The wood has rotted due to moisture and the floor were sagging. Also, the rotting wood is very smelly.
Smartjack base
This base is used in Crawlspaces. Because of the height restrictions in a crawlspace. This flat base works best.
Supplemental beam
The Smartjack is installed and connected to the supplemental beam.
Sump pump
This sump pump is specifically designed for the crawlspace system.
Cleanspace added
The Cleanspace is a 20 mil, 7 layer poly liner. It has cord reinforcing and a product called Ultrafresh built in to resisit anti-microbial like mold.
Iceguard
The sump discharge line features an iceguard to prevent frozen discharge line.
Crawlspace Door.
A new door is installed to seal off outside air.
