Cold walls and dirt floor
This is the before picture showing debris on dirt floor and cold concrete walls.
Debris to be removed
Organic material such as building materials need to be removed first before leveling the crawlspace
Silverglo insulation panels and Drianage matting
The cold walls are taken care of witht the Silverglo foam panel insulastion. The difference between Silverglo and ordinary panel insulation is 2fold. first the the foam is infused with grafite to bump the R value and secondly, the silver finish will reflect heat back into the room and stop it from being absorbed into the solid mass concrete wall. After the rim joists will be spray foamed (Not shown)
Cleanspace Vapor barrier
The Cleanspace goes on next and gets mechanically attached to the concrete walls so it will never come off. Cleanspace is a 20mil liner that is 7 layers thick. It has a 25 year warranty and wont ever rip or come off the walls from crawling around.
Cleanspace installed and sealed
Once the Cleanspace is installed, it is caulked to seal all the dirt below.
