Floor is opened and an engineered base is installed
Connector and adjuster
The SmartJack Xt is connected to the Supplemental beam
I Beam
The Supplemental I beam is hung from the floor joists until the jacks are installed and and adjusted in position
Level
THe Supplememtnal beam can now be used to make sure everything is level
Finishe floor
Once everything is in place, the floor is restored back to the original height.
