Photo Album: Great Interior waterproofing in Ancaster, ON

Marco had some leaking in his Ancaster, ON home. Alessio suggested our patented interior drain system called WaterGuard. This drain system is installed under the concrete basement floor and directs water from the walls and under the floor to a Sump Pump system. The WaterGuard comes with a Lifetime, transferrable warranty. Delta MS is attached to the walls to make sure no moisture leaks into the finished walls.

Weeping the blocks

Andrew drills holes into the bottom blocks to allow the water to escape from the cavities.

Trench is prepared

The trench is opened up to install Waterguard. some preparation is required to adjust the slope.

WaterGuard is capped

The end of the Waterguard is capped to make sure the water drains in the right direction

Half height wall membrane.

It is imporatnt to put wall membrane up 4' or above frost line. On a poured concrtete wall, it is necessary to attach the wall membrane up to the top of the wall in case a future crack develops.
