Cast-in-place Footing
When the Footing of the home is too small to attach the lower bracket without fear of it cracking off, a new footing is made out of cut of concrete.

Top and bottom brackets
The Powerbrace is attached to the new footing at the bottom and a Bridgte bracket at the top.

Top Brackets
Different brackets are used depending on the orientation of the floor joists.

Cross Beam
The Cross Beam supports the wall between the two Powerbraces when they are a further distance apart such as under a window.
