Tuff Top Lid
This sump pit was fitted with a Tuff Top lid option. This is a thick lid that is completely flat on the floor so the customer does not lose any floor space.

Walls to be torn out
To do this system properly, the walls need to be torn out
Ground water
Ground water is visible at the bottom of the wall
Tricky Dischage
It is important to get the water away from the house and also where it wont cause a slipping hazard in the winter. The best place was on the opposite side of the house from the sump pump. To dod this, we had to put the discharge pipe up into the floor joist system
OPen Floor joist
Luckily the customer had a empty floor joist cavity to run the discharge to the opposite side of the house.
